I was on the road for work today, driving through a small portion of Southeastern Oklahoma with two of my favorite people. On the way home, we took back roads to take in the sights. I love rural Oklahoma.

I’ve heard people from out-of-state say that Oklahomans are friendly people, that the pace of life is a little slower and a little simpler. I find the same is true in rural parts of the state as compared to the metro areas. It was refreshing.

When I got home, I found my ukulele had arrived. Ryan helped me tune it up and get started playing. Let’s just say there was a whole lot of laughing that ensued!
